Send Fulfillment Updates Setting: How our App Works

Whether you're using our app or our website, let's talk about the two ways you'll receive tracking from Ave Shops.

If you're using our Shopify app to sync items to your website, get ready for some good news! Our system is meticulously designed to streamline your order fulfillment process, ensuring a hassle-free experience.

How Our App Works

Once you've installed our app and synced items to your website, here's what you can expect:

  • Automatic Order Fulfillment: Your orders will be seamlessly fulfilled, and tracking numbers will be added to your Shopify or CommentSold order as soon as we generate the shipping label.

  • Using 'Send Fulfillment Updates': We utilize the 'Send Fulfillment Updates' setting in your Ave Tech account, which is automatically assigned to each order upon syncing. This enables us to sync tracking numbers back to your Shopify account once orders are fulfilled.

    • If this setting is ever turned off (No), we will not assign tracking numbers to your orders in Shopify, but they will still be accessible to you in Ave Tech where you can copy and paste them into your Shopify orders.

    • This setting is forward-facing. If turned off and then on again, it will not retroactively sync tracking numbers to previously skipped orders. Instead, it will only sync tracking numbers for future orders.

    • Important Note: Ave Shops will not be able to sync a tracking number to your Shopify if the order is already fulfilled. Please allow Ave to generate shipping information and sync the tracking back to your Shopify.

  • Customer Notifications: Once a tracking number is assigned to your Shopify order, your notification settings will kick in, sending tracking emails directly to your customers' inboxes.

    • Ave Shops does not engage in customer correspondence. You retain full control over communication with your customers. We will communicate with you as the boutique owner and have communication settings in Ave Tech setup there so you can control email notifications between us and you. In your Shopify, you can control notifications between you and your customer.

Note: There is a checkbox when manually processing an order in Ave Tech (If you are a Shopify shop) and it asks if you want to send fulfillment updates to your shop. If you uncheck this box, it will not send a tracking number to your Shopify. Please be aware of this if you want to combine orders and manually push an order through to us sooner than your order processing delay and you DO want a tracking number send to us. This is not an email notification, it is a tracking number.

What if You Don't Use Our App?

No worries if you're not using our app through Shopify or CommentSold! If you place orders directly on our wholesale website, we've still got you covered:

  • Tracking Numbers Assigned: As soon as we create the shipping label for your order, a tracking number will be assigned to it in your order history on your wholesale account.

  • Email Notifications: You'll receive an email notification as soon as your order has been shipped, ensuring you stay informed every step of the way. Once you receive that, you can send that tracking number to your customer or upload that to any website that you are working with.
