Refresh a Product on Your Shopify

How to Refresh a Product

Occasionally, you might find the need to sync an update that hasn't reached you yet or publish a product you had deleted earlier (for example, if it's been re-featured). In Ave Tech, this process is straightforward and can be accomplished with just a few simple steps.

Here's how to refresh a product in your Shopify:

Step 1: Login to Ave Tech

To begin, log in to your Ave Tech account. This is where you will manage your Shopify connection with Ave Shops, your orders, and your products.

Step 2: Go to the 'Products' menu

Once you're logged in, navigate to the 'Products' menu on the far left. This is where you can view all of the products that are assigned to your Shopify, refresh the products, and assign On Hand Inventory.

Step 3: Search for the desired product

Using the blue filter in the top right, enter the name, SKU, or identifying tag of the product you want to refresh. This will help you find the product quickly and easily.

Step 4: Click on the refresh icon

On the far right of the product listing, you will see an icon that looks like an uno reverse card or spinning arrows. Click on this icon to refresh the product.

Step 5: Confirm the refresh

A pop-up window will appear asking if you want to refresh the product. Click on 'Yes' to confirm the refresh.

Congratulations, you have successfully refreshed the product in your Shopify store! If you already had the product in your store, this will perform a hard refresh. If you didn't have the product, it will now be pushed back to your Shopify store as this action force publishes.

Publishing in Ave Tech is not the same as publishing in Shopify. We sync to your Shopify in an active state, but not published to your online store sales channel. The shop owner is in control of publishing to their online store.

Note: If you ever are having difficulties finding a product in this list, it may not be assigned (and therefore not synced) to your shop. This means that you need to head to the 'Marketplace' menu to sync the item. Once an item has been synced, it assigns it to the 'Products' list and removes it from Marketplace.
