How to Use the Product ID in the CommentSold Dropship Catalog

Find products faster! Product IDs are now listed in item descriptions on the wholesale site.

‼️ Please note that the product ID was not added until the week of 6/9/2025. If you're having difficulty with any products prior to this date, please feel free to contact our support team at hello@theavenueshops.com or by using our chat box in the bottom right corner. Some products that were impacted in the past will have a direct link in the description.

If you're ever having trouble locating an item in your CommentSold Dropship Catalog—or if you’re working outside our support hours—you can quickly access the exact item you need using its Product ID.

Here’s how to do it step by step:


✅ Step 1: Locate the Product ID on avenueshops.com

We’re now adding Product IDs to the product description metadata on our wholesale site to make things easier for you.

  • Just head to avenueshops.com, find the item you're interested in, and look for the Product ID in the description area.

  • The Product ID is a 5 or 6-digit number (example: 12345). (Total digits may vary)


✅ Step 2: Navigate to the Full Catalog in CommentSold

To find this item inside your CommentSold Dropship Catalog:

  1. Log in to your CommentSold dashboard.

  2. In the left-hand menu, click Dropship.

  3. At the top of that page, click the Full Catalog tab.

  4. Click on any product in the catalog to open its details page.


✅ Step 3: Swap the Product ID in the URL

Once you’re on a product page:

  • Look at the URL in your browser's address bar. It will end in a number (like /12345).

  • Replace that number with the Product ID from the wholesale site.

Example:

If your URL is:
https://yourshop.commentsold.com/dropship/catalog/products/987654

And your desired Product ID is 123456, update it to:
https://yourshop.commentsold.com/dropship/catalog/products/123456

Hit Enter, and you’ll go straight to that product!

⚠️ What if you see an error message?

If you try to pull up a Product ID and see this message:

"The requested product either doesn't exist, or has been archived and is no longer available for sale."

Don’t worry—this usually means the product hasn’t been released to free members yet.
