Are you encountering address errors on Ave orders through TikTok? Don't worry, we've got you covered! In this guide, we'll walk you through the process of setting up Seller Shipping to ensure smooth order fulfillment and avoid address errors.

Unsure if this article is meant for you? A TikTok order may have suspended in Ave Tech for this reason:

Even though the address is most certainly inside the US! Ave Tech is simply confused by the ***** in the address. TikTok is disguising the address because Seller Shipping is not turned on in your seller center.

Why Set Up Seller Shipping?

Seller Shipping allows you (Or your third party warehouse) to manage your shipping process and fulfillments, ensuring that order addresses and fulfillments sync seamlessly and customers receive their purchases without any hiccups. By configuring your shipping settings correctly, you can prevent address errors and provide a better shopping experience for your customers.

Steps to Set Up Seller Shipping:

  1. Access TikTok Shop Seller Center: Log in to your TikTok Shop Seller Center and navigate to the Shipping section.

  2. Navigate to Shipping Templates: Click on "Shipping" and then select "Shipping Template" to access the Shipping Template Page.

  3. Add New Template: On the Shipping Template Page, click "Add New Template" to create a new shipping template.

  4. Enter Template Details: Fill in the necessary fields in the template, including:

    • Template Name: Customizable

    • Shipping From: Your warehouse location (Country, City, State)

    • Shipping To: Country (Enter ALL 50 States)

    • Excluded Areas: Set areas where delivery is not available

    • Delivery Areas: Determine shipping rates for different zones

    • Shipping Services: Choose shipping services based on performance and prices (e.g., Standard or Express).

    • Shipping Rules: Set rate models based on product quantity and weight

  5. Set Up Regions: Create region groups and define shipping rules for each region (e.g., Continental US and Non-continental US territories).

  6. Assign Areas: Ensure that all areas are assigned to either excluded areas or regions. Unassigned areas must be assigned to a region to avoid errors.

  7. Submit Template: Once you've completed the shipping template, click "Submit" to save your settings.

    1. Note: Preferred should be green.

Final Steps:

After setting up Seller Shipping, all orders should sync smoothly without address errors. However, if you encounter any orders that did not sync or charge successfully, you can manually place the order on wholesale and send us a label from your TikTok seller center.

Unfortunately, updating the address in Shopify will not update in Ave Tech when the order has suspended for this reason and it is due to TikTok disguising the address up front. This means the order will cancel in Ave Tech eventually so it's important to place the order on the wholesale site to secure inventory for your customer.

Remember, TikTok labels are not accepted permanently, so it's essential to set up Seller Shipping as soon as possible to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
