Guidelines for Handling Preorder Product Deletion

It's crucial to refrain from deleting preorder products, or any products, until all associated orders have been fulfilled. Deleting a product listing while pending orders exist in Ave Tech can lead to unintended cancellations when Ave Tech attempts to process charges.

Cancellation Process:

If a product line item is removed or deleted from a Shopify order while pending orders are present, all pending orders for that item will be cancelled when Ave Tech attempts to charge the payment. The cancellation reason will be denoted as 'All related shop orders cancelled'.

Verification Process:

To verify whether a product has been deleted:

  1. Check your Shopify order for a thumbnail photo and hyperlink associated with the product.

  2. If either or both of these elements are missing, it indicates that the product has been deleted. Consequently, searching for the product name under 'Products' will not yield any results.
